Barnstorming!

We are very excited to be launching Barnstorming! - our new online concert series in which we will collaborate with our talented friends to present some incredible chamber music from beautiful barns around the UK.

As a small chamber group, we particularly love playing in smaller, more intimate venues and the barns we have chosen for this series inspire us. After such a challenging year, we are keen to reconnect with our colleagues and audiences, whom we have missed very much.

We love that Barnstorming! means 'exciting or adventurous' and we hope that we can take you on an arresting musical and visual journey with us!

The first Barnstorming! programme sees us collaborate with cellist Alexander Rolton for some lesser-known cello quintets by Beethoven and Onslow. It is now available on demand!

The series is made possible by a grant from Continuo Foundation, with additional help from friends of Consone.

On Monday, 28th June we had the pleasure of performing for a socially-distanced audience in the sublime acoustics of the Wigmore Hall. The concert was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and the Wigmore Hall YouTube Channel - both available on BBC Sounds and YouTube for a month. We hope you have a moment to listen!
